Vish Krishnan

Sheryl and Harvey White Endowed Chair, Innovation, Technology & Operations

Vish Krishnan’s research is focused on technology commercialization, new product development, and technology-enabled product and process innovation. After receiving his doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Vish served as a Professor and IC2 senior research fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. He joined the Rady school as one of the founding faculty, and leads the school’s efforts in building the school’s faculty and programs.

Vish is also working to create and coordinate the Rady school’s signature core curriculum course, Lab to Market, that aims to foster new products and ventures from California’s vast scientific and intellectual property assets. Vish Krishnan has been invited to serve in editorial positions at Management Science, M&SOM, POMS, IEEE-EM and other journals, quoted in national publications, and is the recipient of several teaching and research awards, including the Most Valuable Professor award in the executive MBA program in 2009.
