The Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego today announced the launch of a new format for its FlexMBA program. Beginning in fall 2008, the Rady FlexMBA will be offered in two formats, FlexWeekend and the recently launched FlexEvening. The FlexMBA program, an MBA designed for working professionals, has been offered in a weekend format since 2004. The new evening program will accommodate the needs of working professionals who are unable to take the time away from work to attend classes.
The FlexEvening MBA provides access to the same rigorous program, but without the commitment of regular time away from the workplace. Classes meet two evenings a week on campus, and students will typically complete their degrees in 30 months. In addition to class meetings, additional time spent on campus creates opportunities for more intensive study and teamwork.
“The Rady FlexMBA was designed to serve the educational needs of working professionals,” said Rady School Dean Robert S. Sullivan. “We look forward to providing access to MBA study for more professionals in the San Diego region.”
Both the evening and weekend program enable working professionals to engage in a rigorous learning experience, with a depth of coursework typically found in full-time programs.
Applications for the FlexMBA are currently being accepted for fall 2008. To learn more or apply to the program, please visit http://www.rady.ucsd.edu/mba/.
